Artxiomas
Art Museum of the Americas · Washington, DC · 2016
A film on Artxiomas, an exhibition of Cuban contemporary art in Washington, produced by Next Art Project for the Art Museum of the Americas.
Watch on YouTube ↗Since founding the audiovisual production company Next Art Project in Havana in 2013, Jorge Lavoy has filmed exhibitions, installations and artists at work — for the Kennedy Center, the Art Museum of the Americas and the Cade Museum — alongside making-of films for musicians and artists and aerial studies of the North Florida landscape.
Films made with museums and curators to carry an exhibition beyond its walls — the works, the installation process and the people behind them.
